Our Style

Great Sushi Starts with the Best Sushi Rice.

Whether it’s rolled as maki-sushi or formed as nigiri-sushi, the sushi rice makes up the greater part of the dish.
That’s why we take great care in selecting our ingredients and preparing our sushi rice.
We use the best quality premium rice, cooked to perfection, and pair it with just the right amount of our select vinegar to find the optimal balance of sweet and sour.
Try it and taste the Shin difference today.

Customers Voice

There is no doubt Orlando, Florida has become one of the cultural epicenters of Japanese cuisine.

One of the true spearheads of the incredible movement of Japanese sushi in Orlando has been from Shin Sushi, led by the world-class chef Ken Sakurada. Shin opened over a decade ago and paved the way for Japanese spots to do well in central Florida.

Ken’s experience comes from being a sushi chef in Japan, in the Atlantis in the Bahamas, and over several spots in the USA.

This writer, being from Japan, having a Japanese mother, and traveling to Japan to eat a few times every few years – can confidently say that Shin Sushi is as good as Japan.

Go here now. All the time.

I first discovered how fabulous Japanese cuisine is in the mid-nineties as an executive with Universal Studios leading our development of Universal Studios Japan in Osaka.

Fast forward, seventeen years ago I discovered Shin and was reunited with true Japanese dining.
I admit I favor sashimi among many other delicious dishes.

Ken’s passion is serving every customer with his signature dining experiences.
